SEMI FINAL RECAP
As the rain ruined our chances of a top 2 finish, we were off to Bay and Basin for a spot in the big dance.
Batting first openers Jacob Coleman and Alex Brown got us off to a quick start with a very wet outfield running well was going to be the way for a decent score.
Jacob fell for 21 and Alex for 30. After that wickets feel consistently finishing with a total of 135 off 45 overs.
With a low total confidence was still high and it went into the first over. Import Karl Ballerby taking a wicket off the last ball of the first over. Then the grind began. Basin batters battling slower then a wet week with our tight bowling. Basin were 4-48 at the half way mark. Only needing just over 2 an over a task was still in front of us. But true to this season form, we fought until the very end bowling basin out for 108 securing out spot in the big dance against Lake Illawarra.
